2014 Coastal Living Magazine Showhouse Featuring Hardwood Floors, Coronado

For 2014, The Coastal Living Showhouse was chosen to be featured in the exclusive community of Coronado, an island across the bay from San Diego, California. The contractor, Flagg Coastal Homes, specifically chose DuChateau hardwood floors for this project once the company had been selected as the contractor. This is the magazine’s first West Coast showhouse.

Both DuChateau’s Danube, from The Riverstone Collection (used in most of the house), and Antique White from The Chateau Collection of hardwood floors were chosen to accentuate and highlight the unique building and architectural elements within. Burnham Design added rich, fresh compositions with texture, pattern and color throughout, melding architecture, hardwood flooring, location and comfort into an elegant cohesive coastal retreat.

Coronado is also home to the US Navy SEALS, and this year, the Navy Seal Foundation was selected as the beneficiary of the Showhouse tours charity. Formed in 2000, the Navy SEALS Foundation assists Navy families and command services, educational programs, and legacy activities.

The 2014 Coastal Living Magazine Showhouse is open through September 28, 2014 for tours. You can find information about appointments, hours and more at the link below.
